Favors To Treasure is not responsible for lost, undeliverable,misplaced or stolen items once your order has been delivered. The Post Office provides tracking services as proof of delivery.

Priority Mail is not a guaranteed delivery service such as Express mail. Estimated delivery is 2-3 days depending on shipping address location.

Shipping to a business address: The U.S. Post Office delivers packages Monday through Saturday.  If your place of business is closed on a Saturday, the U.S. Post Office will leave a notice of an attempted delivery.  They will either a) redeliver your package on Monday or b) request that you pick up your item. We are not responsible for lost, undeliverable, misplaced or stolen items once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Cost Disclaimer: Shipping cost is estimated and may consist of additional shipping cost at time of actual shipping plus bank fees incurred. We will email customer with amount and date of charge for the additional shipping cost postage at time of shipment.

DAMAGE REPLACEMENT/COMPENSATION

We are always sorry to hear that some favors arrive broken during shipping although we make every attempt to properly package and box our orders. Unfortunately, damage does occur through no fault of ours. We will attempt to remedy the problem as follows:

1. Uninsured favors: We will reship damaged favors if we can ensure delivery via U.S. Post Office Priority Mail prior to your event date.(Express Mail shipment is available at customer's expense).
We require return of broken items. Instructions will be sent to customer.

2. Insured favors: We will reship damaged favors if we can ensure delivery via U.S. Post Office Priority Mail prior to your event date.(Express Mail shipment is available at customer's expense).If we are unable to reship replacements in a timely manner even with express mail, you MUST take your damaged items to the post office with ORIGINAL PACKAGING for inspection so that we may receive compensation and issue a credit to you. A credit will be issued when we receive a refund from the U.S. Post Office. Please allow up to 30 days for processing of a claim. We will continue to communicate with you via email until resolved.

 


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Acceptance of Orders: Prices, terms, and specifications (i.e.: colors, sizes, materials) are subject to change without notice.
Payment Information: We only accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express payments.  In order to receive credit card approval and validity we will charge your credit card upon receipt.
Option Selections:  CHOCOLATE: If we are out of stock on your chocolate selection, we will substitute with another alternate chocolate color.  RIBBONS: Please be advised that we do not have any control over our manufacturers ribbon color shades.  We make every endeavor to tie our customer's favors with the same shade  of ribbon selected, but ribbon dyes sometimes are changed direct from the distributor.
Credit Card Statement: PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT WE APPEAR ON YOUR CREDIT CARD  STATEMENT  AS:  "FAVORS TO TREASURE"
Credit Card Fraud: To protect our customers and the integrity of online ordering, we actively cooperate with credit card issuers and law enforcement agencies around the world to prosecute offenders. All of our orders are trackable to the point of origin to delivery and can easily be investigated by the proper authorities.
Credit Card Charge Backs: Credit card charge backs cost merchants money and cause higher prices. A credit card charge back involves extensive investigation and paperwork for the merchant, even when the charge is valid. A credit card charge back is more expensive to a merchant than a bounced check.  Please remember your online purchases and review your statement carefully. Credit Card Charges from this site will appear on your statement as "FAVORS TO TREASURE".
Contesting a Credit Card Charge and Charge backs:  ANY UNWARRANTED CREDIT CARD DISPUTES WILL RESULT IN A MINIMUM SERVICE FEE. If you contest a charge and we have proof of delivery, we will bill you $25.00. If you make a charge back because you did not know what your charge was for, (credit card statements contain information of vendor name, and date. You can also call your credit card bank and they will give you an item description of what you ordered) we will bill you for the bank charge back fee of $25.00. You must check with us before you make a charge back for any reason.
Damaged Shipments: You must file a damage claim with your local post office. Once your items have been inspected by your local post office, we will submit initiate a claim directly for compensation. You must retain the damaged items and all shipping receipts that came with your shipment and present your damage for inspection to your Local Post Office.
Melted Chocolates:We guarantee safe and unmelted delivery of your chocolate order for up to 3 days of shipment. Compensation will be issued less shipping costs which are not refundable. After 3 days, no compensation for melted chocolates will be issued. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery within 3 days after shipment. If notice is left by the carrier, the customer is responsible for picking up their order as instructed by us via email. Click for further info.
Re-packing/re-transporting of favors:We are not responsible for the condition of your favors when you re-pack or re-tranport your favors to a different location.
Lost Shipments: All orders will be shipped delivery confirmation. We will not be responsible for misplaced or lost packages once a delivery confirmation has been obtained.  If your order is lost by the U.S. Post Office, we must wait 14 days to file a claim.  After 14 days, we will issue the customer a credit.
Order Cancellations:
IF AN ORDER IS IN PRODUCTION AND CANCELLED, WE WILL ONLY ISSUE A CREDIT LESS THE COST OF THE FAVORS THAT WERE MADE TO THE DATE OF CANCELLATION.  WE WILL SHIP COMPLETED FAVORS TO THE CUSTOMER. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO HAVE YOUR CANCELLED CHOCOLATES SHIPPED, PLEASE INFORM US OF THIS AT TIME OF CANCELLATION.  A REFUND OF ALL SHIPPING COSTS WILL ONLY BE REFUNDED. IF YOUR ORDER IS NOT IN PRODUCTION, WE WILL DEDUCT THE CREDIT CARD FEES THAT WE WERE CHARGED. WE WILL ISSUE A REFUND LESS THESE FEES.
WE REGRET THAT FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU CHOSE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER, BUT WE SEEK FAIR COMPENSATION FOR TIME AND MATERIALS USED FOR CREATING YOUR FAVORS.  THIS IS AN INDUSTRY STANDARD FOLLOWED BY EVENT VENDORS/PLANNERS.
NOTE: Chocolate is a food commodity and for health reasons it cannot be returned! Chocolate orders are non-returnable/non-refundable and if returned will be refused and forwarded back to the customer. Cool containers, frozen gel packs, and associated shipping charges are NON REFUNDABLE as well.
Discrepancy in Orders: If you select a chocolate color selection that we cannot meet we will fill your order with an alternate milk, white or dark chocolate. We make every attempt to process orders upon receipt and schedule a quick turnaround time in order to avoid delaying our orders. All processed orders are final and non-returnable.
Pre-Order Policy: Please note that by placing a Pre-Order you are in agreement and acknowledge that the product(s) will be held for production and shipped on the requested date, no exceptions. Also, if you place an order or request additional items to be added to your Pre-Order products, we will recalculate shipping costs and charge the original credit card, unless you provide us with an alternate credit card. The entire order will be shipped entirely. There will be no second shipment.
Returned Orders: If your package is returned either because it was refused or it was not picked-up by the recipient after failed attempts by the U.S. Postal Service or Express Courier, we will NOT issue any credits. It is your responsibility to ensure that your package is picked up at your local post office after notification has been left by the carrier.  Refusal of any shipment is unacceptable and unauthorized once an order has been shipped. 
Wrong Shipping Address: If your package is returned to us because you provided us with the wrong address we will resend your package with the correct address.  We will not be responsible for the additional postage. We will bill your credit card for the additional postage for the original shipping amount.  However, if your order was packed in a cool container and your chocolate items melted during the prolonged shipping transit back to us, we will not issue any refunds (we are not responsible for melted chocolates delivered on time to a shipping address provided by the customer at the time of order).  If you feel that the post office was in error, the matter will need to be resolved with your local postmaster in order to receive a refund direct from the post office.
Mail Forwarding on file with post office:It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that there are NO mail forwarding requests on file with the post office pertaining to the shipping address entered on the order form at time order was placed. We urge the customer to contact their local post office to ensure there is none. If one is on file, they should remove it prior to order being shipped. Customer should always ensure that there are NO restrictions on the shipping address they provided to us. This pertains to both residential and business addresses. Not doing so will result in order being forwarded to an address other than the shipping address that was entered originally on the order form and resulting in the package being redirected by the post office. Therefore, it is very important since we are dealing with perishables that there be no mail forwarding or other restrictions of any kind on the shipping address since We cannot guarantee unmelted chocolates due to this oversight by the customer. All chocolate orders must be delivered within a 3-day period to shipping address that have no restrictions to ensure the safety of your perishable order. *** We will not issue any refunds or exchanges or return of order if the package is not delivered in a timely manner due to the customer's failure to make us aware of a restriction on the shipping address and/or have it removed at the post office prior to shipment of the order.***
Undeliverable Orders: We are not responsible for undeliverable orders after attempts have been made by the carriers to deliver your order for any reason.  Orders are shipped to the shipping address as entered on your original order form by the customer.
Post Office Money Back Guaranteed Delivery on Express Mail Orders: If your express mail order is not delivered within the 1 day (2 days for some rural areas) commitment, we will issue a refund of the shipping cost charged.
