  • How Do You Process An Order When Received?

In order to receive a charge approval all credit card orders are charged immediately prior to processing and/or shipping an order.  Our favors are not stocked, but custom made for each customer's requirement.  It is not just a matter of going to a shelf and picking an item and dropping it in a box, but rather spending time on creating a freshly hand-made favor for a special event.  Additional charges will be added to total order amount to reflect a cool container and gel pack, additional shipping weight, shipping insurance when shipping our chocolates to a warm/hot location.

  • When do I submit my order and what is the expected date of delivery?

IMPORTANT:

PRIORITY U.S. MAIL DELIVERY IS 2-3 DAYS.  HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT THE TIMEFRAME THAT WE WILL SHIP AN ORDER.  WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO WEEKS LEAD TIME PRIOR TO YOUR EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE AND/OR EVENT DATE. DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF ITEMS ORDERED, WE MAY BE ABLE TO SHIP YOUR ORDER IF YOU SELECT EXPRESS MAIL. PLEASE CALL US AT 908-213-3656 IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO CONFIRM AN ACTUAL DELIVERY DATE FOR YOU.

 

To ensure your order arrives on time for your special occasion, we recommend that you order as early as possible in order to ensure on-time delivery. Because many of our products are made-to-order, customized and/or hand-finished, we may require a production lead-time. If you provide us with sufficient time, we can ship an order 1 or more weeks prior to your actual event date.

It is in your best interest to place your order far in advance to allow us time to create and ship your order. All orders must be placed online at our secured shopping cart. We do not accept telephone orders. Telephone orders create additional paper work for us and we do not have the resources available for this.  Our shopping cart creates a very sufficient paper order for us which we print out and allows us to track the order with a designated order number as well.

 

IMMEDIATE ORDERS are acceptable, but the customer will need to select EXPRESS MAIL at check out!  NOTE: Depending on your area, express mail may take up to two days for delivery. We will inform the customer of this.

  • Substitutions? 

Although we have a sufficient inventory of favor supplies and accessories, we occasionally need to reorder more popular items.  Additionally, if any item has been discontinued, we will substitute with an item of equal or greater value at no additional cost.  In the event our chocolate delivery is delayed by our distributor, we will substitute with one of our other chocolate colors (milk, dark or white).

 

  • How do you ship your orders? 

We only ship via U.S. Post Office Priority Mail.  Estimated delivery is 2-3 days.  U.S. Post Office Express Mail is available at checkout.

  • How do I store my chocolates upon delivery?

Please open your order carefully and handle each item with care.  Your chocolates should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight or heat.  Keep your favors covered to prevent dust and dirt from settling on your favors.  We recommend storing your chocolates in a dry and cool place (such as a basement).  If you live in a warm/hot climate you should store your chocolates in a cool closet.  Chocolate can be stored for up to one month or slightly longer, but not more than two months.

 

We do not recommend refrigerating your chocolate as this will create a change in your chocolate's appearance.  Depending on your home's humidity and temperature sometimes the chocolate will become sticky or a white film will settle around the edges due to these factors.  We recommend that you store your chocolate in a cool and dry place away from heat and sunlight.

 

  • What is the quality of the chocolate used?

Our chocolate is 100% natural without artificial ingredients or flavors.   Additionally, our chocolate contains NO PEANUT OIL, OIL EXTRACTS OR NUTS of any kind or are processed in equipment that is used with other products that contain peanuts by the manufacturer.  Our chocolate quality and smooth taste is made with real Nestle chocolate in  concentrated form.  

 

NOTE: All of our chocolates favors are molded with flat backs or bottoms unless we indicate otherwise. 

 

  • Is your chocolate kosher? 

Yes. Certified kosher dairy. Certification documentation upon request.

 

  • Do you have a minimum order amount?

Yes. We have a minimum total order amount of $5.00 (excludes S/H costs).

 

  • Do you offer discounts on orders?

We offer low competitive prices to meet the needs of our customers' budget.

 

  • Do you offer wholesale?

No. However, our prices are kept low to meet the needs of our customers' budget. 

 

  • What do I do about damages to my order?

  • How do you package your favors?

We use bubble wrap and foam peanuts to package our boxes as standardized by both UPS and USPS in order to avoid damage to our packed items.  Some items are more fragile than others and we individually will wrap those items to further protect them from the rigorous handling by the carriers. 

 

Unfortunately, although we carefully package each order with care, sometimes damage does occur through no fault of our own. We package each order carefully and we guarantee that every item that we created and packed was not damaged during packing.  Therefore, it would be unfair to blame us for any damage that occurred during or after shipment. In order to provide compensation to our customers, we strongly suggest that they insure their package.  The U.S. Post Office will not issue compensation if a package was not insured.  We do not issue refunds or exchanges due to damage caused by the carriers. 

 

  • What method of payment does Favors To Treasure accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. *  We do not accept mail-in payments or COD.

* If your credit card is declined we will notify you via email.  Please be advised that we are not provided with the reason why your credit card was declined.  It is your sole responsibility to contact your bank and they will provide you with the reason.  Sometimes it is a matter of typing the wrong numbers or providing the wrong expiration date.  In that case, you would need to resubmit to us the correct credit card information and we will resubmit your credit card for approval.

 

  • Can an order be cancelled after it is placed?

IF AN ORDER IS IN PRODUCTION AND CANCELLED, WE WILL ONLY ISSUE A CREDIT LESS THE COST OF THE FAVORS THAT WERE MADE TO THE DATE OF CANCELLATION.  WE WILL SHIP COMPLETED FAVORS TO THE CUSTOMER AT THEIR EXPENSE (THIS WILL INCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS AND COOL CONTAINER EXPENSES IF APPLICABLE). IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO HAVE YOUR CANCELLED CHOCOLATES SHIPPED, PLEASE INFORM US OF THIS AT TIME OF CANCELLATION.

 

NO CREDITS ARE ISSUED FOR COMPLETED/SHIPPED ORDERS. 

 

  • Does Favors To Treasure have a return policy?

DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS, WE HAVE A ZERO RETURN POLICY.  PERSONALIZED ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE/NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Substitutions

We have the right to substitute any item with an alternate item of equal or greater value. If our chocolate inventory is low or our shipment is delayed, we will substitute your chocolate selection with an alternate chocolate. 

 

  • Does Favors To Treasure Gather or Share Personal Information with others?

We do not keep, share or sell anyone's personal information.  We respect our customer's right to their privacy and we protect all of our customer's information received on our secured shopping cart.

 

  • How do I order?

All orders must be placed on our secured shopping cart.  Using the highest level of SSL encryption in the industry to ensure that your credit card is never compromised.  Credit card information is never stored on our servers.
