Cool Shipping Costs

¹Some intra-state or delivery by mail truck locations are delivered in 2 days.

We will provide a reusable insulated container and frozen gel packs during the Summers months (May 1 - September 30) when shipping our chocolates to a warm/hot location year long and/or during unusual warm periods.

Our shipping costs are calculated by weight and the ship to address zip code as regulated by the U.S. Post Office.

The following states below require special cool packaging all year round. During the Summer months or unusual warm/hot climate, we require that our chocolate favors be shipped in our cool container when temperatures are over 65 degrees during shipping transit. This is a necessary and mandatory company policy in order to prevent our chocolates from melting during shipping.

HOW WE DETERMINE COOL SHIPPING COSTS

NOTE: Most favors and favors that are designed with boxes will require a large container or two small boxes in order to allow for proper packaging. If we determine this at time of shipping, the additional costs associated with the original shipment will be charged to your credit card.

Note: Some of our items are largely shaped and may require an additional cooler in order to avoid over packaging which can create breakage. If this is the case, we will need to use two or more coolers to accommodate order at an additional cost of $7.00 for each additional cool container.

Our shopping cart automatically charges for the first cool container. Each additional cool container must be manually added and charged to credit card prior to shipping order.

Cool Container/Gel Pack Costs:

FOR MOST ORDERS WITH ITEMS UNDER 100

Will consist of ONE container and frozen gel packs.

NOTE: If items are of large shape, you can expect that we might have to use ONE more container and frozen gel packs at an additional charge of $7.00 + shipping weight cost of $4.60 (1 Lb). TOTAL COST OF ADDITIONAL CONTAINER = $11.60.

MAY consist of TWO containers and frozen gel packs at a cost of $14.00.

NOTE: Additional containers and frozen gel packs are at an additional charge of $7.00 + shipping weight cost of

$4.60 (1 Lb). TOTAL COST OF ADDITIONAL CONTAINER = $11.60 EACH

It is very important that the customer understand that we sell many varieties of chocolates and we attempt to pack as many items that will fit into our standard cool container (measures: 11.5 x 10 x 11.5) without over packing.

We do not pack your chocolates until time of shipment. If it is determined that we need to use more than one cooler in order to safely pack your order, we will do so as a benefit to you as well as us. The costs will be added to your credit card as outlined above. We will contact the customer with the costs and the date that your credit card was charged with complete details.
